Structural Integrity Monitoring (SIM) requires instruments for monitoring stress and/or damage, rapid data analysis to give the current condition of the structure and methodology for assessing safety and/or the need for remedial action. During this session recent work on stress intensity calculation, material response to fatigue cracking, non contacting stress and crack monitoring, and SIM methodology will be reported.
