Environment Assisted Fracture

Organized by

Giovanna Gabetta

Wolfgang Dietzel

Hryhoriy Nykyforchyn

The objective of this symposium is to bring together researchers involved in experimental and theoretical investigations into the phenomenon of environment assisted cracking, and to assemble interesting talks that address the state-of-the-art in our current understanding of this problem. Contributions that will help to stimulate discussion on all aspects of environmentally assisted damage, degradation and rupture processes, including modelling of these processes, will be highly welcome. The symposium is jointly organised by the ESIS TC10 on Environmentally Assisted Cracking and the Subcommittee on Hydrogen Degradation.
